Overview of the Event:
The role of finance is changing. With greater demand for finance to drive performance, the FP&A and Business Partner role plays a highly critical and strategic function of any successful organization. FP&A and Business Partner roles have evolved through the years, and they are well positioned to transition to the top finance job due to their in-depth knowledge of the business and expertise in finance, combined with their ability to understand, communicate and engage across all internal and external stakeholders.
The first segment of the event will be dedicated to a presentation on “Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Business Partnering: Unleashing the Power of Finance in Driving Business Value” delivered by our guest speaker from EWEC (Emirates Water and Electricity Company).The presentation will offer insights into the FP&A and Finance Business Partnering Profession. This will particularly be centered on the art of partnership and teamwork with other departments of an organization, storytelling as well as communication with the operations in consideration of technological advancements. During this interaction with the speaker, we will explore what are the key areas to develop and achieve in order to branch out towards a career in FP&A and Business Partnership. The second segment will feature an Iftar Buffet as well as an opportunity to network with our invited finance leaders in different organizations.

About the Speaker
Jade Hisoler is the Head of Commercial Finance at EWEC (Emirates Water and Electricity Company). Jade is a highly accomplished senior finance professional, overseeing the optimisation of the company’s financial performance, and unlocking potential through detailed financial insights and risk mitigation analysis that drive strategic decisions for EWEC. In her role, Jade also supports energy sector stakeholders with financial intelligence.
Jade has an outstanding academic record and experience working in diverse global and multi-billion-dollar industries. Her financial knowledge, business acumen, and leadership skills have shaped her highly successful career in finance, with her expertise extending across Accounting, Auditing, Financial Planning and Analysis, Advisory, and Business Partnership. Prior to joining EWEC, Jade had a 13 year career with Etihad Aviation Group, responsible for managing all aspects of the commercial and operations finance functions, playing a pivotal role in profit improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
Jade is an alumnus of the University of San Carlos in Cebu, Philippines and is a Certified Public Accountant..
