Event Overview
This event will provide us the basic understanding of COSO ERM Framework in the context of COSO's Mission, Vision and Thought Leadership which includes the integration of the framework into an organization in achieving the Strategic Goals.
After the session we will have the knowledge about:
- Gain a basic understanding of the COSO ERM Framework in the context of COSO’s Mission, Vision and Thought Leadership.
- Understand how integrating the COSO Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework into an organization assists in achieving their strategic goals.
- Explore together – could best practice ERM have helped better anticipate or mitigate massive disruptions.

J. Stephen McNally CMA, CPA
J. Stephen McNally, CMA, CPA, is Chair of IMA's Global Board of Directors for the 2021-2022 fiscal year. He is also chair of IMA's Governance Standing Board Committee, the IMA Europe Board, and the ICMA Board of Trustees. In addition, he serves as a trustee of the IMA Memorial Education Fund and the IMA Research Foundation Board of Trustees. In his role as Global Board Chair, Steve oversees all Global Board committee work, presides over all Global Board meetings, and works closely with IMA’s president/CEO to ensure that staff and the Global Board are engaged and achieving IMA’s strategic plan.
Steve is CFO, treasurer, and secretary of Plastic Technologies Inc. (PTI) Group of Companies. Based in Holland, Ohio, the PTI Group serves nearly every major consumer goods company and is recognized worldwide for sustainable packaging innovation.
Prior to joining the PTI Group, Steve was the finance executive for Campbell Soup Company's Napoleon & Flavor Operations, including Campbell's premier Soup, Sauce, and Beverage operations in Northwest Ohio, Campbell's flavor operations in Milwaukee, and a network of approximately 50 warehouses, co-manufacturers, and re-packers throughout the U.S. Steve joined Campbell's in 1995, progressing through a variety of positions with increasing responsibility, including roles in internal audit, brand finance, sales finance, business development, corporate supply chain, and special project teams. Steve started his career with Price Waterhouse in Philadelphia.
Steve, a proud member of IMA's Toledo (Ohio) Chapter, has been a member of the IMA Global Board since 2009. He has chaired IMA's Performance Oversight and Audit Standing Board Committee, Member Relations Standing Board Committee, and the 2017 IMA Annual Conference Program Committee. In addition, he has served as a member of IMA's Governance, Strategic Planning, and Volunteer Leadership Standing Board Committees, and as Board liaison to IMA's Committee on Ethics and Small Business Committee. Steve also represented IMA on the 2011-2013 COSO Advisory Council, charged with updating COSO's original Internal Control-Integrated Framework and served on the IMA Leadership Academy faculty.
Steve received a BS in Accountancy from Villanova University and an international MBA from the University of South Carolina.
Members are encouraged to bring and register their colleagues who want to join the event and interested to be IMA member in the future (Online and prior registration is mandatory).

All attendees must sign the IMA waiver form upon registration in the entrance prior starting the event.

Members/Non-Members will be entitled to 1CPE & certificate provided by IMA for staying the entire event.
